Eli and Fletcher are Softballers that have recently been selected for the Western Australian Schoolboys team that is competing in the School Sport Australia Under 18s National Championships May 13 – 20 where they will against the best Under 18 players in the country.
Both young men are play A and B grade Softball in Geraldton’s summer competition. In the winter they travel to Perth weekly to compete in the Western Australia State Softball senior competition.
In preparation for the National Championships in May, both Eli and Fletcher have been commuting to Perth for training sessions every Saturday. They are the only players in the state team that live outside of Perth.
After the School Sport Australia National Championships, Eli will try out for the Under 18 WA State team while Fletcher will turn his attention to the Under 23 WA State team.
The Josh Kennedy Foundation is proud to support both Eli and Fletcher to achieve their current and future goals as a part of the Sports Assistance Scholarship Program. The Foundation would like to thank its’ partners of the foundation, the program, and the Mid West community for assisting young people to achieve their goals.
