Nothing gets past local goal keeping sensation, Max Winton. You will often see Max playing at his local Club, Olympic FC in Geraldton. He is currently playing in both the Under 16 team and the 2nd Division senior team, as well as coaching both a junior club team & with the Football West Skills Acquisition Program.
Through Max’s hard work, he was recently selected to represent Western Australia to compete as a part of the Hyundai Talent Support Program to play against some of the best players Asia has to offer in the Malaysia Borneo Cup, then to Singapore for the Singa Cup.
Away from Sport, Max spends time outdoors. He is a lover of all things nature, having spent most holidays camping & fishing around the Midwest & south west regions.
At school he aims to improve on his school grades with a particular focus on English. Once he has completed school, he aims to go to University, to become a PE teacher so he can teach and share with the next generation his love of sport.
The Josh Kennedy Foundation is proud to support Max to achieve his current and future goals as a part of the Sports Assistance Scholarship Program. The Foundation would like to thank its’ partners of the foundation, the program, and the Mid West community for assisting young people to achieve their goals.
